Blaqbonez sues Odumodublvck for ₦2 billion

The Nigerian rap scene is facing one of its most explosive legal battles yet, as Blaqbonez takes fellow rapper Odumodublvck to court in a massive ₦2 billion defamation lawsuit that’s sending shockwaves through the industry.

Legal documents dated July 7, 2026, reveal that Blaqbonez—through his legal team at Punuka Attorneys & Solicitors—has filed serious allegations against Odumodublvck (born Tochukwu Gbubemi Ojogwu). The lawsuit centers on claims of sustained online defamation, harassment, and what Blaqbonez’s lawyers describe as a deliberate campaign to destroy his reputation. According to the court filings, Odumodublvck allegedly published or amplified statements labeling Blaqbonez as a “sexual abuser” and “sexual abusing bastard”—accusations that the plaintiff’s legal team emphatically denies as false and malicious. The memorandum states plainly: “Our Client has suffered and continues to suffer significant loss and damage as a direct consequence of your unlawful conduct.“

The demands laid out in the lawsuit are extensive. Beyond the ₦2 billion in general damages, Blaqbonez is seeking an additional ₦500 million in aggravated damages, plus ₦50 million to cover legal costs. The suit also calls for a permanent injunction to stop further defamatory statements, deletion of all offending social media posts, and a public apology that must remain pinned on Odumodublvck’s verified accounts for 30 consecutive days. As of now, Odumodublvck hasn’t publicly addressed these allegations, and the case remains in the hands of the court system where these serious claims will be examined.
