For the first time in its 15-year run, the platform welcomes two Francophone African talents to the mix, bringing together six distinct voices from across the continent and diaspora. Nigerian production maestro Sarz takes the helm, crafting a sonic backdrop that honors hip-hop’s foundations while pushing the culture forward.

This year’s lineup reads like a continental who’s who: Cameroon’s Tenor makes history as his country’s first Cypher representative, joining forces with Côte d’Ivoire’s sharp-tongued Suspect 95, South Africa’s award-winning Yanga Chief, Ghana’s genre-blending Kwesi Arthur, Kenya’s versatile Fena Gitu, and British-Nigerian wordsmith Enny. The collaboration marks a significant moment in Hennessy’s ongoing relationship with hip-hop culture—a bond referenced in over 58,000 songs, making it the most-mentioned spirit brand in music history. “The art of blending is at the heart of Hennessy,” explains Aimee Kellen, Moët Hennessy MEA Regional Marketing Director. “This year’s Cypher unites six remarkable voices, each bringing their own perspective and energy.”
