Blaqbonez sues Odumodublvck for ₦2 billion

The Nigerian hip-hop community is reeling from explosive legal news as rapper Blaqbonez takes fellow artist Odumodublvck to court in a massive ₦2 billion defamation lawsuit. The legal bombshell dropped on July 7, 2026, when court documents surfaced revealing serious allegations of online harassment and reputational damage.

According to the legal memorandum filed by Punuka Attorneys & Solicitors on behalf of Blaqbonez, the “Commander” rapper is seeking substantial damages over what his legal team describes as a targeted campaign of defamation. The suit alleges that Odumodublvck (born Tochukwu Gbubemi Ojogwu) published or amplified defamatory statements labeling Blaqbonez as a “sexual abuser” and “sexual abusing bastard”—claims that Blaqbonez’s lawyers vehemently deny as false and malicious. The legal filing doesn’t pull punches, stating that their client “has suffered and continues to suffer significant loss and damage as a direct consequence of your unlawful conduct.”

The demands outlined in the lawsuit are comprehensive and costly. Beyond the ₦2 billion in general damages, Blaqbonez is seeking an additional ₦500 million in aggravated damages and ₦50 million to cover legal costs. The suit also requests a perpetual injunction barring Odumodublvck from making further defamatory statements, immediate deletion of all allegedly offensive social media content, and a public apology pinned to his verified accounts for 30 consecutive days. The filing even asks that Odumodublvck publicly instruct his fanbase to cease harassing Blaqbonez. As of now, the Declan Rice rapper has remained silent on the allegations, and the case awaits its day in court where these serious claims will be examined under legal scrutiny.
