Nigerian rising star Rybeena is positioning himself for a breakout year, announcing plans to release Mr Bee Deluxe while simultaneously locking in his future with Dapper Music & Entertainment. The artist officially renewed his partnership with the Lagos-based music company on June 15, 2026, cementing a relationship that has already yielded impressive results over their initial two-year collaboration.
The timing couldn’t be better for Rybeena, who rode considerable momentum from his 2025 Mr Bee project into this new phase of his career. That release earned recognition as the 9th Best Project of 2025 by Pulse Nigeria and showcased the artist’s versatility through collaborations with Joeboy, Shoday, and Fuji icon King Dr. Saheed Osupa. The project’s success has clearly convinced both parties that there’s unfinished business to handle together, with the deluxe edition serving as the opening salvo in what promises to be an ambitious campaign.
During the signing ceremony at Dapper Music’s Lagos headquarters, both Rybeena and Dapper Group CEO Damilola “Dapper” Akinwunmi expressed confidence about what’s ahead. Akinwunmi emphasized that the company focuses on career-building rather than simply roster management, noting that Rybeena has accomplished in two years what takes most artists significantly longer. The young artist echoed that sentiment, crediting Dapper for backing him consistently and making it clear he’s staying to complete their shared vision. With Dapper Group commanding roughly 8 percent of Nigeria’s streaming market and generating over a billion annual streams across its portfolio, Rybeena has aligned himself with serious infrastructure capable of pushing his music to new heights.
As Mr Bee Deluxe approaches and additional releases queue up behind it, Rybeena appears poised to capitalize on the groundwork laid during his first stint with Dapper Music & Entertainment. The renewed partnership signals mutual belief that the best is yet to come.
