This time around, contestants earned their spots based on cumulative data from NotJustOk’s Afrobeats Power Ranking between January and July 2025, ensuring the tournament featured the genre’s most impactful artists of the year. With both championships now under his belt, no other artist has managed to capture the Afrobeats Rumble title even once, let alone twice consecutively.
