Asake Trades City Lights for Castles and Bulls in His New “MCBH” Video

Asake Takes “MCBH” Visuals to Epic New Heights with Bulls, Castles, and Countryside Drama

Asake is officially done playing it safe. The Afrobeats superstar just dropped the official video for “MCBH” (Money Can’t Buy Happiness), and it’s a cinematic departure from everything you’d expect. Forget the usual club scenes and city backdrops—this time, he’s swapping streetlights for Spanish-style bullfighting, medieval castles, and sprawling European countryside vistas that feel more like a feature film than a music video.

The visuals kick off with a breathtaking drone shot hovering over a historic moated castle nestled in lush green fields, setting an opulent, almost dreamlike tone. Then things get wild. Asake appears decked out in full matador regalia—a pearl-and-crystal-encrusted white jacket paired with a blood-red cape—staring down a massive black bull in the arena. It’s theatrical, it’s bold, and it’s completely unexpected. The video refuses to sit still, jumping from levitating scenes inside stone halls beneath mounted bull heads to Asake cruising on a motorcycle down serene rural roads, pouring wine on a countryside terrace, and navigating palatial interiors that scream old-world wealth.

But the surreal imagery doesn’t end there. A mysterious woman aims a vintage revolver directly at the lens. An off-road buggy blasts over strips of crimson fabric laid across the dirt. In one particularly striking frame, a human reflection flickers in the bull’s eye—a subtle yet haunting detail that adds layers to the narrative. Every cut introduces something fresh, keeping viewers locked in from start to finish. It’s clear that Asake and his team came ready to push boundaries visually, matching the same energy he brought to M$NEY, his fourth studio album that recently set records as the longest-charting number-one project on Apple Music Nigeria in 2026.

Produced by Blaisebeatz and Alhaji Tunga, “MCBH” has already been a fan favorite off the album, and these visuals elevate it even further. If you’ve been sleeping on the track, now’s the time to catch up—this video is an event on its own.
