Elevated experiences celebrating the culture through dance and rhythm

Thousands Turn Out as Qing Madi Makes Her Official Infinix Debut at HOT 70 Pro “Be Seen. Be Hot.” Campus Storm

Qing Madi Lights Up Lagos Campus as Infinix Brand Ambassador at Epic HOT 70 Pro Launch

The University of Lagos transformed into a massive celebration of music, tech, and youth culture as Nigerian rising star Qing Madi made her official debut as the face of Infinix’s HOT 70 Pro smartphone. The “Be Seen. Be Hot.” Campus Storm drew thousands of students from across Lagos, marking a major moment for both the award-winning artist and the smartphone brand’s connection to Nigeria’s vibrant Gen Z community.

The campus activation was more than just another product launch. Students from UNILAG, Yaba Tech, Federal College of Education, and neighboring institutions experienced an immersive blend of technology and entertainment. Interactive zones showcased the HOT 70 Pro’s standout features—including its IP68 water resistance through a striking photo booth installation that had students creating content in a water-themed setup. Meanwhile, a “Be Seen. Be Hot.” signature wall became a canvas for self-expression, filled with personal affirmations and dreams from hundreds of attendees. The phone’s customizable Active Matrix Cube lighting system was highlighted through color-themed games, while MTN added extra excitement with their engagement booth offering exclusive rewards.

The musical highlight came as evening descended and Qing Madi took the stage for an electrifying headline performance. The crowd was treated to back-to-back sets from Ayo Maff, Big Bimi, Crowd Kontroller, and Rybeena, keeping the energy at fever pitch well into the night. Earlier in the day, lucky fans got up close and personal with Qing Madi at an exclusive meet-and-greet session, complete with photo opportunities and Infinix merchandise. The grand finale saw two students walk away with brand-new HOT 70 Pro smartphones, while one fortunate winner scored the ultimate prize package including the phone, XPAD, smartwatch, earbuds, and more.

“The HOT 70 Pro ‘Be Seen. Be Hot.’ Campus Storm was created to celebrate a generation that is confident, expressive and unafraid to stand out,” explained Oluwayemisi Ode, PR Manager for Infinix Nigeria. The event succeeded in merging innovation with authentic youth culture, proving once again why Infinix continues to resonate with Nigeria’s young, creative demographic. For thousands of Lagos students, the message rang clear: technology and self-expression go hand in hand.
