This first batch of performance drops captures the raw magic that made Afro Nation Portugal one of the year’s most anticipated music events. The streaming giant confirmed that eight additional performance videos are set to roll out in the coming weeks, ensuring the festival buzz continues long after the final encore. The release underscores just how far Afrobeats has traveled on the global stage. Spotify’s recent data paints a vivid picture of the genre’s international footprint: Tyla commands audiences across the United States, United Kingdom, Brazil, Germany, and the Philippines, while Wizkid’s reach extends from Nigeria and the US to Mexico and France. Olamide continues building his empire across Nigeria, the US, UK, France, and Germany, and Young Jonn is steadily carving out territory in markets as diverse as Indonesia and Ghana.
